House Fire on Division Avenue

Jackson firefighters worked for more nearly an hour to put out a fire in west Jackson. The fire broke out around 9, Tuesday night in the 300 block of Division Avenue. Fire crews reported seeing smoke and flames shooting from the back of the house when they arrived, but were able to quickly get the fire under control. I Crews said it is too early to tell what caused the fire, It is unclear if anyone was at home at the time.
