Child on Bike Hit by Driver

A 10-year-old boy luckily walked away with only a little road rash on his elbow after being hit by a truck, Wednesday evening. Jackson Police told 7 Eyewitness News the boy rode his bicycle into the street in front of a driver around 6 p.m. Even though the person behind the wheel slammed in the brakes, the child was hit by the truck, but not seriously hurt. Officers said they do not expect and charges to be filed.
