Former Ripley Housing Director Pleads Guilty
The former executive director of the Ripley Housing Authority has pleaded guilty to embezzling from the city. David Ford pleaded guilty, Tuesday to embezzlement, money laundering and tax evasion. Prosecutors said since he was hired as executive director in January of 2009 he stole $216,000 from the housing authority. Ford could face up to 45 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
