Police Add Charges to Armed Robbery Suspect

A Jackson man already jailed on an armed robbery charge will return to court, Thursday to face a new charge. Police said Robert McLemore, 20, stole a woman’s purse outside K-mart on Old Hickory Boulevard December 7. He will be officially charged with robbery, Thursday morning . McLemore was arrested earlier this month after Jackson Police said he was robbed a convenience store. He is also accused of firing a shot at the clerk and stealing her purse. He was arrested about an hour later sitting inside a nearby fast food restaurant.
