JPD Investigating Late Night Shooting

A second shooting took place in Jackson, Wednesday night, hours later, on Wallace Cove. However, Jackson Police said it may have been in self-defense. Investigators said around 10 p.m., a 47-year-old man was shot once in side by another man who was trying to get him to stop hitting his girlfriend in the head with a motorcycle helmet. After he was hit, officers said the victim drove himself to the Office Lounge on Federal Drive for help.
