The Jackson man charged with pistol whipping and shooting a pregnant woman, then an hour and a half later, pistol whipping another pregnant woman has pleaded guilty to both crimes. Larry Mallard, Junior, 29, entered a guilty plea Tuesday to two counts of aggravated assault and was sentenced to six years in state prison. On December 3, 2010, investigators said Mallard pistol whipped and shot a pregnant friend in the shoulder. Then, a short time later, officers said he pistol whipped the mother of his unborn child.
