Mardi Gras Kids Parade Saturday
If the weather cooperates Saturday, Jackson will kick-off Mardi Gras celebrations with a parade fit for the entire family. The Kid’s Mardi Gras Parade will wind through the streets of downtown Jackson. The children can decorate their bikes, trikes, strollers and wagons. Only non-motorized vehicles will be allowed. The parade will begin Saturday morning at 11 in front of The Baker’s Rack on Lafayette Street. The Grand Mardi Gras Parade is set for Tuesday at 12 Noon. Storm Team 7 Chief Forecaster Gary Pickens will serve as Grand Marshal.
