Humboldt Police Investigate Car Stolen and Shots Fired

Officials at the Humboldt Police Department confirmed a car was stolen from a residential area early Saturday morning, although they would not tell 7 Eyewitness News much more. Police Officials say the vehicle was stolen on the west side of Humboldt in the 300 or 400 block of Maple St. Officials said gun shots were fired at approximately 4:45 A.M. Saturday morning. Assistant Chief Bill Baker with the Humboldt Police Department said there were no reports of injuries. It was unclear where the gun shots were fired, although residents in the area say they heard the gun shots around 12th and 13th St. in Humboldt. Chief Baker said to his knowledge, no suspect or suspects have been arrested yet in this case.
