Elks Make a Donation to The Dream Center

The Dream Center in Jackson, which helps care for women and children who are homeless got a helping hand of its own, Monday. Members of the Jackson Elks Lodge presented The Dream Center with a $2,000 check. The money is a grant from the national organization based on giving from Jackson members. “That is one way that we, as an organization here in Jackson can get involved with the community more than just the little bit that we take on own,” said Berry Clark of Jackson Elks Lodge #192. The Dream Center said the money will be used to buy blankets and other winter necessities.
