Generals to Host Job Fair Saturday

If you have always wanted to work in professional sports, this Saturday may be your chance. The Jackson Generals hare hosting their first ever job fair at Pringles Park this Saturday. They are looking to hire part-time, game-day positions as the team kicks off its 15th season in April. Positions include mascots and entertainers, general store associates and ticket office representatives. “We want everybody to be smiling, having fun, interacting with our fans, knowing who they are, and really just servicing everybody, entertaining everybody,” said Jason Compton, General Manager for the Jackson Generals “Basically people who are comfortable in front of a crowd of people, they don’t mind talking loudly or shouting in front of a large group of people, they don’t mind getting people excited,” said Justin Bernhard, director of promotions for the Jackson Generals. The job fair is this Saturday at Pringles Park between 10 a.m. and 12 Noon.
