Resident Says Wild Goat Attacked Husband

Decatur County residents said a dangerous goat is roaming around their homes on a daily basis. However, they said nothing has been done about it. Linda Davis told 7 Eyewitness News for about a year, her neighbor’s farm animals have been coming onto her property. It was only after the large goat attacked her husband recently that she really became frightened. The property does not have a secure fence around the animals, and they can easily walk out. Davis said the animals are also being underfed, since the owner only comes around about once a week. Now she is worried the goat will strike again, and that the next time could be much worse. “Every time I see the goat out in the yard my husband, I’ll call my husband. Get him out of here. Get that goat out of the yard, now,” said Davis. Davis said she called the sheriff’s department, but they only reprimanded the animal’s owner and nothing was solved.
