Life After “The Bachelor”

It wasn’t the fairy-tale ending fans hoped for. Shortly after winning ABC’s “The Bachelor: Paris”, Jackson’s own Sarah Stone split from bachelor Travis Stork. “People still ask me am I okay? Is he okay? Do you even speak to one another? And of course we do,” said Sarah. In fact, Sarah Stone – now Sarah Smith – is more than “okay.” “I’ve gone from being a woman who was completely independent, on her own. Now I’m a mother of a 2 year old,” laughed Sarah. “A mother and a wife.” The former teacher says things took a turn shortly after the show and earning a real estate license. “I began working in real estate, and that’s where I met my husband,” said Sarah. “I actually sold his house.” Things only heated up from there. “My husband and I went to lunch one day, and it was a business lunch. We sat there and just started talking about everything except work,” said Sarah. “And so lunch turned into dinner. I just knew there – there was something special about him.” The two tied the knot and gave birth to a baby girl. “Now I’m more about play groups and the playground and that sort of thing,” said Sarah. The former reality star says she loves seeing her daughter on the park’s swings and slides, but if it ever came to seeing her on TV – that would be a different story “Absolutely not,” laughed Sarah. “If she wanted to go on a reality show, I would definitely support her. However, I would not encourage her!” After a whirlwind few years in Nashville, Sarah says it’s time to get back to her roots and raise her family in Jackson. “I love this town,” said Sarah. “It’s a part of me and I’m excited to come back and start a new chapter of my life.”
