Voters Turn Out for the Last Day of Early Voting

Tuesday was the final day for early voting for Tennessee’s March 6 primary. More than 122,000 have voted with about 80 percent of ballots cast in the hotly contested Republican primary. But without a contested Democratic primary, overall participation is predicted to be down 10 percent from 2008. In Madison County, more than 2,300 votes have been cast. If you did not cast an early ballot, you still have to opportunity to vote next Tuesday.
