Man Who Allegedly Swallowed Cocaine During Traffic Stop Dies

A drug suspect has died, four weeks after he allegedly swallowed an ounce of crack cocaine as he was being arrested in Carroll County. According to the TBI, Keith Cason died, Monday night. He had been hospitalized in critical condition since his arrest on January 30. The TBI’s investigation continues.
