Man Wanted for Check Fraud in Tipton County

The Tipton County Sheriff’s Department is seeking information about the identity of a man wanted for passing numerous fraudulent checks worth thousands of dollars. Investigators said the suspect passed the fraudulent checks to purchase gift cards at vacuum stores in Cordova and Bartlett as well as the Wolfchase area. Investigators said the suspect is a black man, approximatly 5 feet 10 inches tall, has a medium build and is wearing some type of identification badge in one of the photos.
