Fatal Crash Causes Power Outage

Jackson Police are investigating a weekend fatal car crash. It happened just after 3 a.m. Sunday morning, and police said the accident only involved one car. Officials said the driver ran into a pole along the 45 Bypass near Hollywood Drive. Police have not identified the victim, but they told 7 Eyewitness News the victim is a white male. Jackson Police said they do not know how the accident happened but do believe the crash caused a power outage early Sunday morning for residents who live nearby.
