Four Arrested for Crimes Connected to Rap Video

Four Jackson residents were arrested for taking part in a rap music video that also involves an underage girl participating in inappropriate activity. According to Jackson Police reports, Joey Deberry, 23, Elvin Ewell. 19, Morgan McLemore, 18, and Marcuse Adams, were all involved in the production at a local Days Inn motel room. Also in the video, was a 16 year old girl who investigators say was dancing and performing simulated sex acts while wearing little clothing. Police also say the minor was provided with marijuana, Xanax, and alcohol during the video shoot. Three adults were taken into custody over the weekend and Adams turned himself in to Jackson police Tuesday morning. They are all charged with exploitation of a minor and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. “The law also says that a child can not engage in things of a sexual nature and that’s basically why everyone else faces charges. The adults are deemed to be the responsible ones,” said Lieutenant Tyreece Miller. All four had bonds set at $5,000 and are scheduled to return to court March 22.
