MCSD: Person of Interest Identified in 2011 Homicide
The Madison County Sheriff’s Department has identified a person of interest in the May 2011 homicide of Nora Ann Crawley. According to a news release, the person of interest, whose name was not released, was identified through DNA. Sheriff Woolfork said his department has turned over the case to the District Attorney General’s office for review. On May 31, 2011 Nora Ann Crawley, 39, was found dead in an embankment on Aaron Long Road between Riverside Drive and Boone Lane. Crawley, who was listed as living in Shelbyville at the time of her death, lived in Jackson on Trace Drive in 2006.
