Hardin County Superintendent Indicted

The head of the Hardin County School District was indicted Monday by a Hardin County grand jury. According to Sheriff Sammy Davidson, Director of School John Thomas was indicted Monday on one charge of carrying a weapon on school property. It is in connection with an incident on November 14 of last year on the campus of Hardin County Middle School. Thomas turned himself into the Hardin County Jail Monday afternoon and was released on his own recognizance. The case was presented by concerned Citizen Jerry Fowler who accuses officials of looking the other way. Thomas’ first court appearance is scheduled for Monday the 26.
