Officials: House Fire Caused by Meth Lab

Investigators say an early Friday morning house fire in Bradford was likely caused by a meth lab. The outside of the home in the 200-block of Highway 45 South showed little damage, Friday afternoon. Bradford officers say they were called out just before 2 a.m. Firefighters were able to get everyone out of the home. The West Tennessee Drug Task Force is handling the case. Officers would not say if anyone was hurt in the fire. However, the Gibson County Sheriff’s Department said Marlena Arnett is being held at the Gibson County Jail on several drug charges and a count of aggravated child abuse.
