Turn of the Century Social
The annual Turn-of-the-Century Social, a community wide event celebrating times-gone-by (late 1800s to early 1900s), will take place on Saturday, April 28th from 10 am -2 pm in MCC Central Park. MSU students, dressed in period costumes, will conduct reenactments at the old schoolhouse, courthouse, and train depot (Playhouse in the Park). There will be food, live music, storytelling and many other period-related interactive activities such as candle making, kettle corn cooking, soap making, period-related coffins, and live animals.
