In Milan, Thursday evening, runners hit the pavement in the first ever “Glow in the Dark 5K” run benefiting the Milan YMCA. Organizers estimate close to 100 runners took par in the 3.1 mile race that started and ended at the Milan City Park. It’s estimated more than $1,500 was raised, which will be used to support the “Strong Kids Campaign” at the Y. The program helps underprivileged youth buy the equipment they need to compete and participate in different sports and programs.
