Wiggins Charged with Voluntary Manslaughter

Two days after the death of Richard Medlock from injuries suffered in June of 2011, Guy Wiggins was charged in his death. Thursday, Wiggins was charged with voluntary manslaughter. He is scheduled to make his first court appearance on this charge in May. Henry County deputies say Wiggins ran over Medlock when he saw him in a heated argument with his wife. Investigators believe Medlock and Wiggins’ wife were romantically involved. Wiggins was previously charged with assault as Medlock remained hospitalized since the incident.
