Beech Bluff Elementary Gets Ready for TCAPs

Teachers us many different techniques to motivate students to perform at a higher level. To prove a point, the faculty at one school in east Madison County is going the extra mile. T get ready for TCAP tests, Beech Bluff Elementary teachers performed a hip-hop song to motivate students prior to the beginning of TCAP testing, Tuesday. Students said they enjoyed seeing teachers and staff performing the song. “As a teacher, the one thing we want to do is have those students opening up that test book with the right attitude to start with because that can make all the difference for them and so we’re trying to fire them up about that TCAP test, ya know?,” said Derrick Taylor, a 4th grade teacher at Beech Bluff Elementary. Tennessee students in elementary and middle school will have a greater stake in the scores they earn on T-CAP tests that start this week.
