Man Accused of Robbery at Knife-point
A Jackson man accused of robbing a Jackson woman at knife-point is being held on bond for the aggravated robbery of a woman who said she gave him a ride. According to court records, Mario Hoyle was in city court to face charges that he robbed the woman who gave him a ride on McRee Street last Thursday. The victim told police Hoyle grabbed her by the neck, held a knife to her side and demanded money. She told investigators after she was chocked and threatened, she gave Hoyle her purse and drove away. The victim identified Hoyle as the man who robbed here at an apartment complex on McRee Street. Hoyle was arrested hours later at an apartment complex in Lincoln Courts. While arresting him police said they found crack cocaine in his pocket. Hoyle is being held on a $75,000 bond and will return to court Thursday.
