Scrapyard Fire
A highly visible rubbish fire has been brought under control in Knox County. The Rural/Metro fire company sent several units to a scrap metal business early Tuesday. The large fire sent flames into the air near the interchange of Interstate forty and the Pellissippi Parkway. It took about an hour and a half to get the fire under control. There were no reports of injury.
