Charter School Resubmitting Application to State Dept. of Education

The group attempting to establish a new charter school in the Hub City is hoping to keep its dream alive after their application request was denied by the state. Last Friday, school officials saw their application request denied by the state Board of Education. Wednesday, leaders for Connections Preparatory School told 7 Eyewitness News they are preparing to refile their application with the state. In a memo to the state director of charter schools, Connections school leaders said they are in the process of revising and resubmitting their application, which they hope will be approved.
