Inmate Accused of Tossing Feces on Guard

The Jackson man accused of breaking out windows of the Criminal Justice Complex with a gumball machine he took from the Madison County Jail is in trouble again. Clint Sims, 32, faces a new charge of aggravated assault on a correctional officer. According to the sheriff, as the deputy was picking up food trays, Sims tossed what appeared to be fecal matter on him. Sims also faces vandalism charges because he reportedly damaged an in-cell camera and sprinkler heads. Sims will face a judge Thursday morning.
