Humboldt Woman Charged with Arson Arrested

A suspect who was being sought by Humboldt investigators in connection with an apparent arson fire is now in custody. Angela Smith was arrested in a house on 12th Avenue, Tuesday on a charge of aggravated arson. She is being held at the Gibson County Correctional Complex until her arraignment in Humboldt General Session Court on May 9. The fire caused minimal damage at a rental property on 19th Avenue. April 21.
