Body Recovered from Obion River

A body has been found in the Obion River. According to the Dyer County Sheriff’s Department, earlier Thursday searchers recovered the body of Dwayne Garner, 49, of Lake County. Tuesday, family and friends noticed his boat was still at a ramp on Highway 78 and became concerned. Investigators suspect Garner drowned.
