MS Woman Pleads Guilty
A second woman has pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the 2009 beating death of a man from Burnsville. 55-year-old Linda Holt entered that guilty plea Thursday in Lee County Circuit Court. Holt and 33-year-old Terry Sparks were indicted by a grand jury on a murder charge in the death of 84-year-old John Holt. Sparks pleaded guilty to manslaughter Wednesday and will be sentenced later. Holt is scheduled to be sentenced Monday at ten a.m. in Tishomingo County Circuit Court.
