If you travel along North Royal Street, Allen Avenue or Preston Street, you may want to take a detour Monday morning. The City of Jackson will close both lanes of traffic on North Royal Street from Allen Avenue to Preston Street starting at 7 a.m. Monday until Wednesday. Officials are closing the road ways for pipe replacement by the storm water operations department.
