Trial for Cheryl Freeman Steward Delayed Again

The woman charged in the robbery during which Henderson Police Captain Dennis Cagle was murdered will have to wait until this fall for her trial in Federal Court. Cheryl Steward had her June trial reset again until September 24 due to a heart condition by her attorney. Steward is accused of driving the get-away car for her husband, Ricky Lee Stewart after he robbed the Save-A-Lot in Henderson in December 2009, shooting and killing Captain Cagle in the process. Ricky Lee Stewart pleaded guilty to all charges last year.
