Pot Seized from MS Apartment

Police have removed about twenty live marijuana plants from a Hattiesburg apartment, along with another thirty stumps that already had been harvested. Department spokesman Lt. Eric Proulx says the Neighborhood Enhancement Team served a search warrant at the apartment Monday afternoon. Proulx said officers arrested 40-year-old Terry Andrew Gray last Wednesday on a domestic abuse warrant and a no driver’s license warrant following a traffic stop. Proulx said officers later received a tip that Gray allegedly was growing marijuana in his apartment. Gray faces a new charges of manufacture of a Schedule I controlled substance within fifteen-hundred feet of a school. Police also recovered a pistol, a rifle and a derringer from the apartment. It could not be determined whether Gray had an attorney.
