Habitual Offender Sentenced for Car Theft

A Biloxi man prosecuted as a habitual offender has been sentenced to ten years day for day for stealing a vehicle while its owner enjoyed a Thanksgiving dinner. Circuit Judge Lisa Dodson imposed the maximum penalty for grand larceny Monday after 52-year-old Joseph Bradley Clark pleaded guilty to the theft from Nov. 25, 2010. As a habitual offender, he has no hope of early release from prison. Assistant District Attorney George Huffman says Clark has racked up thirteen felony convictions since the 1990s and the judge considered him a career criminal.
