RIFA Kicks-off Capital Campaign

Am organization that feeds, clothes and trains people in need has launched a major fundraising campaign. The campaign for the Regional Interfaith Association called “Reaching Out, Lifting Up”l kicked-off their $600,000 effort, Tuesday. Leaders said the money will be used for renovation and improvement to be located on Airways Boulevard. The building will be updated to serve clients in need in Madison County and seven surrounding counties. RIFA leaders said the new location will be used to change lives by feeding the hungry, teaching life skills and by inspiring and empowering individuals for success. “This building we are going to be able to design specifically to meet our needs so it’s going to be much much more efficient for us,” said Lisa Tillman, executive director of RIFA. RIFA has served the area for 35 years.
