Blind Man Robbed
Police in Johnson City are seeking robber who took money and a gold ring from a blind man. Its reported the victim told police he was sitting on a bench near the John Sevier Center on Sunday morning when a man approached him and asked how he was doing. The victim said he told the man to mind his own business, but was told there was a gun pointed at his head. The man then demanded the ring and any money the victim had. The police report said the victim surrendered them and the robber ran away.
