Three Arrested in Robbery
Vicksburg police have arrested three men accused of kidnapping and robbing two Louisiana women at the Waffle House on Sunday. Police Lt. Sandra Williams says Felix Howard of Pearl, Perry McAbee and Cedric Akite, both of Jackson, were arrested Wednesday by the U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force. Williams says the three men allegedly forced the two Monroe women into a car outside the restaurant. The men allegedly freed the women unharmed and returned to the restaurant and stole their purses. Williams says the women had gone to the restaurant to meet two men with whom they had exchanged phone numbers at Ameristar Casino. She says a third man pulled a gun and forced the women into the car. An initial court appearance is scheduled for Friday.
