Police Release News Details in Bowers’ Murder

7 Eyewitness News can tell you that the autopsy is complete on Jackson boxing legend Donald Bowers, who was found murdered inside his home late Tuesday night. However, Jackson Police told 7 Eyewitness News they were not releasing his exact cause of death because of where they were in their investigation. But they said Bowers died in an extremely violent manner. The 52-year-old was found inside is west Jackson home by his girlfriend around 11, Tuesday night. No arrests have been made and no suspect information has been released. Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
