Record Attendance at Pringles Park

If you were at Pringles Park on Saturday night or just drove by you noticed that the parking lot was packed full. This weekends series with the Mobile Bay Bears is expected to be the most attended series in organization history. Already in the first three games of the series 13,000 fans have been through the gates. A large portion of the attendance numbers is thanks in part to promotions such as The World’s Largest BBQ Sandwich or Dollar Night. But overall its music to the ears for General Manager Jason Compton. “Ive worked here for 12 years now and haven’t seen it like this,” Compton said. “We have Dollar Nights, Fireworks and a new HD screen in the outfield. We have a sign out front where the thousands of cars that drive by on the interstate can see. Its just exciting and people are excited to come again.” Games 4 and 5 of the series will take place on Sunday at 6:05 pm and Monday at 12:05 am.
