Police Determine East KY Death was Homicide
Eastern Kentucky authorities say they have determined a May 5 death was a homicide. Karen Pitts was found dead in her home near Royalton. Its reported that Kentucky State Police have not publicly identified any suspects, but detectives have been conducting interviews. Magoffin County Deputy Coroner Brian Parker said the cause of the 44-year-old victim’s death was a head injury. Medical tests, including toxicology, are pending.
