MS Man Sentenced in Child Porn Case
A 60-yeaer-old Picayune man has been sentenced to prison for fifty-seven months on a guilty plea to possession of child pornography. The Sun Herald reports (http://bit.ly/JpAWfG ) Clifford Lawrence also was ordered to have lifetime supervision after his release from prison. U.S. District Judge Sul Ozerden sentenced Lawrence on Tuesday. Court papers show Lawrence had been under psychiatric care since at least 2003. Lawrence was arrested in September on five counts of child-porn possession. Four counts were dismissed after he pleaded guilty to one count in February. As part of his plea, Lawrence agreed to forfeit five computers, one computer hard drive and four thumb drives.
