Facebook Users to Vote on Privacy Policy
NEW YORK (AP) – Usually, the way it works is this: Facebook makes changes to the site’s privacy policy – and users complain about them. But now, the social networking site is giving its nearly 1 billion users the chance to vote on those changes. Among the changes that will go up for vote: new sections explaining how it uses people’s information. The updates also reflect recently added features such as a new profile format called Timeline. The voting started this past Friday – and runs through next week. Online: Facebook vote site: http://on.fb.me/JXVN6J
