Woman killed after hanging yard sale signs
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) – A Nashville woman has been struck and killed after hanging yard sale signs on power poles. Police said 60-year-old Patricia Sharpe died late Thursday night after being struck by a pickup truck as she crossed Highway 70 South in a crosswalk. Officers said no charges have been filed but the investigation is continuing. A news release Friday from police said Sharpe apparently did not have a green light to walk across the roadway.
