Night Skies at Natchez Trace
Forked Deer Astronomy joins with rangers at Natchez Trace State Park for a weekend of stargazing! August 10 and 11, the public is invited to dark skies for two nights of free telescope views of deep-sky objects, available planets, or to answer questions about amateur astronomy. Bring a blanket and binoculars to enjoy the Perseid meteor shower, and bring your sense of wonder and curiosity. Lodging is not provided, but is available at the park. Any night is canceled if the forecast calls for mostly cloudy or rainy skies for Wildersville, TN.
