Milan to Spruce Up Roads and Sidewalks with Grant

MILAN, Tenn. – The downtown area of Milan will be getting a face lift thanks to the State of Tennessee and Governor Haslam. The Governor spoke to Miland city leaders and presented them with a check for more than $700,000 to resurface roads and repair sidewalks. Residents are excited about the grant because it will revitalize the town. Downtown business owners said they are anxious to see the changes. They hope improvements such as pedestrian walkways will bring more foot traffic into their stores.
