Traffic Light at North Highland and Demonbreun to be Activated

JACKSON, Tenn. – A new traffic signal in Jackson is set to become active Tuesday morning. According to the City of Jackson Engineering Department, the newly installed signal at North Highland Avenue and Demonbreun will be activated Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. It has been in flash mode since last week. Officials stated that there will be Police Patrols on site to let the light cycle thru one time and then the light will be set to go. Construction of the light was approved by the Jackson City Council in February 2012.
