Marijuana Garden Found in Paducah

Paducah Police say the marijuana wasn’t hard to spot in David Minnis’ yard. Sgt. George Johnson says five plants were found growing “right in between the bell peppers and the watermelon” in a garden. Johnson said it could be seen from the street. Minnis was charged Wednesday with cultivating marijuana. Another resident of the house, Tiffany Morris, was charged with complicity. The bust came a day after police found an indoor growing operation in another part of town. Johnson said in both cases, police either saw or smelled the marijuana plants.
