Jackson Police Conduct Sobriety Checkpoints
JACKSON, Tenn. – If you plan to hit the bars in Jackson Saturday night, you should make sure you have a designated driver. Jackson police officers will be performing sobriety checkpoints and increased traffic enforcement throughout the city again Saturday night. They said their goal is to keep drivers safe, by removing impaired drivers from the roadways. Officers advise drivers to wear their seatbelts as well. They will be checking for those too.
