Jackson Branding
JACKSON, Tenn.- A new logo and a new brand identity are now being used to sell and market Jackson. Wednesday morning, leaders from the Jackson Chamber, City Hall and the Convention and Visitor’s Bureau gathered in celebration of a refreshed identity. Chamber officials said the logo and brand identity are symbols of Jackson’s renewed commitment to developing a top notch economy with an attractive business environment that will keep the city competitive. Chamber president Bobby Arnold said the brand will set the city apart. “There’s strength in numbers and you’ve got one cohesive brand and if you’re all doing something different you’ve got different messages out there,” said Kyle Spurgeon, President and CEO of the Jackson Chamber. We’re going to have one key message for Jackson that will apply to all the key entitles that we’re recruiting.” The new branding comes with a new website and are part pf several initiatives in the “Forward Jackson” campaign, a $3.8 million, five year economic campaign.
